Shortly after returning from training in Japan again with Soke and the Shihan, Holger held this seminar in Kaigozan Dojo, Stockholm, Sweden.

This DVD contains all the nine basic sword techniques from Kukishin-ryu Bikenjutsu Kata plus the Sayugyaku techniques. They are taught and explained thoroughly as a basic foundation, and then with many applications and variations. The techniques covered on this DVD is the following.

We will make a new order on Wednesday since we are out of stock on almost all our swords. You can pre order swords for the same price as they are in the shop now. When we get them back in stock we need to raise the price because the dollar is much higher now than when we set the price last time.

We made a sword catalog you can download with all specs of the swords we recommend. Note we can get a lot of other swords, but you need to contact us with requests because we can not keep them all in stock. We do not sell so many swords so please be patient with us. Read more in the PDF…

New currency mod to Budoshop

I just added an exchange currency mod to the store. It means that when you add stuff to the shopping cart, you will see the price in SEK, and EUR, GBP, JPY and USD for totals. Note the currency is retrieved from Yahoo Finance on the fly. If you experience that it takes to long for the pages to load, please contact me and I will make it to Ajax script instead. I didn’t notice it tooks longer to load, same speed more or less.

Note this is only in the shopping cart, so add stuff to the cart if you want to see the prices in EUR, GBP, JPY and USD.…

About the instructors

Mats Hjelm started training in Bujinkan for the first time around 1983, but it wasn’t until 1986 he had the opportunity to start training more seriously under a Shidôshi. He attends around 20 seminars, go to Japan 2-3 times every year. Since he started training he never had a training break. He takes his budo training very seriously!

Kent T has been practing Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu for 20 years and is one of the main instructors at Kaigozan Dojo in Stockholm.

28″ IAITO – Kukishin-ryu katana model

Kukishin Ryu style sword. Stainless steel sword. It is mirror polished and very beautiful. Tsuka-ito is made of black cotton, wooden core with real Ray Skin. Double pinned mekugi.

23″ SHINKEN – Togakure-ryu ninja-to model

Togakure Ryu style sword. This sword is hand forged, through hardened, oil quenched, and hand polished 9260 Silicon Alloy Spring Steel, and very strong and durable.

I also got one Spring steel tanto, If you are interested in this one (see the link) and then please contact me. I have no plans of keeping this in stock. I also got another sword which I will upload pictures of to the Kaigozan photo album later this week. Same with this if you are interested in other types of swords, please contact me. The next sword order will probably be in March/April.

There will be new DVD’s in the shop later this week, or next week.
