This years theme was Kukishin-ryu Dakentaijutsu and most of the instructors had been in Japan this year. Many techniques from most Kukishin-ryu Dakentaijutsu levels was taught, the emphasis most instructors taught this year was basics, basics, basics. This was maybe the best Kaigousuru Taikai of all! It was the last Kaigousuru R.I.P.

64 minutes where Arnaud did a special warm-up exercise to strengthen your Kamae and blocking. Elias did warm-up exercises which will give you better coordination skills. We took Ed outside where he taught breathing exercises for the camera only. We also took Arnaud to the side where he gave a lecture on the Yoroi (Samurai armor), explaining all the parts while dressing one of the students in our new Yoroi. Then doing ukemi on the concrete floor.

At this three day Tai Kai the five instructors taught three classes each. One big group with everyone, then we had split up the group in two, green belts and the black belts so that the instructors could teach more freely and more detailed to the appropriate groups. See below for details of what they taught.

Thomas taught Taijutsu and Kunai. Ed taught ten breathing excercises and knife defense. Sveneric taught Bajutsu, Kunai and Sanshin no Kata. Lubos taught Kunai and Taijutsu. Michael Clysén taught Ten Ryaku no Maki techniques and Mariette did henka with the Kunai.

There was also a Q&A session, where the instructors talked about this years theme and much more.
