Today we welcome Andrew Young to the show.  Andrew was a long term resident here in Japan and really had some amazing and touching stories of life in Japan and times with Sensei.  Speaking with Andrew, I really felt transported back to those early days in Japan.  He captured something special and we are all lucky to listen in on his experiences! I hope you enjoy!

If you want to contact Andrew, please feel free to contact him directly through facebook. He continues to teach and practice the healing arts in England.  I look forward to chatting with him again!

Get the lowdown on Ed Lomax! Australia`s original Yaban Jin!

From Ninjutsu in the World by Paul Masse

Today we talk with Ed Lomax from Adelaide, Australia.  Every time I speak with Ed, I learn a lot!  He is a veritable encyclopedia of information and top class in his work as a physiotherapist in his country. Also in terms of his personal training, he is always exploring and pushing the envelope to dig deep into the art as taught by Hatsumi Sensei.  I'm sure you will find his discussions enlightening. If you are in Australia, you can find him by messaging Takago ninpo dojo or catch him when he is teaching around the world.  Let's get into it! The picture is a painting Hatsumi Sensei did of Ed.  He captured it Yaban Jin, a brute or wild man!

How a Polar Bear became happy and more with Arnaud Cousergue!

From Ninjutsu in the World by Paul Masse

We get a chance this week to speak with Arnaud, one of the European Shi Ten Ou or guardians of the Bujinkan.  He shares his cold beginnings in the snow during his yamabushi training period to how the Bujinkan lead him on a journey of training, friendship, gratitude and happiness.  It seems to me to be the personification of the teaching, "Cherish your connections"! So lets go get connected to the Polar Bear!
